About the Journal

Al-Nur al-Mubin: Journal of Islamic Studies is a scholarly publication that features research findings, critical analyses, and academic discourse related to various aspects of Islam. This journal covers a wide range of disciplines within Islamic studies, including theology (aqidah), Islamic law (fiqh), Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), hadith studies, Islamic thought, Islamic education, sharia economics, Islamic sociology, Islamic politics, the history of Islamic civilization, and the interaction of Islam with science and modern technology.

The primary goal of this journal is to enrich academic knowledge, support the development of contextual and relevant Islamic studies in response to contemporary challenges, and serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate their ideas and research findings. This Journal generally applies a peer-review system to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific validity of each published article.

Additionally, this journal adopts a multidisciplinary approach, exploring Islam in various contexts, including historical, philosophical, sociological, and political perspectives. Some editions also embrace an interdisciplinary approach, connecting Islamic studies with other fields such as anthropology, psychology, medicine, and environmental studies.

Published periodically by PCINU Egypt, the Journal of Islamic Studies is expected to serve as an essential reference for students, lecturers, scholars, and Islamic thinkers who seek deeper insights into the development of Islamic thought and its dynamics in the modern world.
